UnConference
Last year, the Ontario Care Collective proudly hosted our first-ever UnConference — and it exceeded all expectations. What began as a new way to connect quickly became one of our most engaging and impactful learning experiences. The energy, collaboration, and shared wisdom in the room proved what we have always believed:
Because of its overwhelming success, we are excited to bring the UnConference back in Fall 2026.
An UnConference is a participant-driven experience where you shape the day. There are no formal presentations and no “talking heads.” Instead, attendees create the agenda together, based on the issues, ideas, and challenges that matter most to them.
At the start of the day, participants propose discussion topics and select time slots and spaces. Anyone can lead a conversation, and multiple sessions happen at the same time. You choose where to participate, when to listen, and when to lead.
Think of it as an expanded Ontario Care Collective member roundtable — dynamic, flexible, and focused on real-world practice. Throughout the day, dedicated spaces allow for open, honest, and meaningful dialogue on topics determined entirely by you.
The Ontario Care Collective UnConference is about shared learning, mutual support, and strengthening our collective voice. It’s a space where experience meets curiosity, and where ideas turn into action.
We can’t wait to build on last year’s success and welcome you back for another powerful day of connection, collaboration, and community.
